So cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These lights are amazing!!! So easy to install, and even easier to access from your phone! The many options makes it a different vibe every night. We have intense winds, and I haven’t encountered a single issue. I think these will be such a great option than standard lighting, saving me money on my bills!

Quality & Easy Set Up

I received this product from Influenster in exchange for my honest review but I would repurchase these lights in order to string them up all over our patio.

Outdoor Ambiance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just set up these Monster Smart String Bistro Lights on my patio, and the build quality seems solid. The cord is premium, and each bulb has its own hanger built in. The 24-foot string with 12 lights was perfect for my space, creating a nice outdoor atmosphere, and the product will support up to 36 lights connected together.
The smart features seemed promising: voice control, scheduling, and sound reactive. There’s a catch, though, since the app only works with 2.4 GHz WiFi, which my router doesn't support. Frustrating, since that limits the "smart" part of these smart lights. The included controller works fine, though. You can still change colors and set basic patterns, which is enough to create a decent lighting setup.
Fair warning: The included installation clips are limited to what they will fit over. I ended up using zip ties and screws in several spots to ensure everything stayed put. Definitely recommend having some on hand. Secondly, the power adapter cord is just over 7.5 feet long, which meant I needed an extension cord to reach my outdoor outlet. To keep things protected, I bought a weatherproof connection box - not taking any chances with electrical connections outside.
Bottom line: Good lights, just be prepared for some extra setup work and know the WiFi limitations upfront.
