Bought it Again

I bought the single fuel model in 2017 and used it infrequently for home power outages. It worked well for seven years. Power outages became fewer the last four years after they buried the power lines and my maintenance, always poor, became even worse. Consequently in 2024 the carburetor was so gummed up it would no longer start.
I attribute these problems to my poor care and decided to buy this same unit again, only this time using only propane. My hope is that this will ease the maintenance problems that come over time with gasoline. I connected everything and it started up right away. It's still going on its maiden run. I am resolved to follow the maintenance schedule this time around.
And I hope to find someone more mechanically inclined who will revive the old unit and be able to use it for many more years.

Too Early to be Sure but is Looking Really Good

Got delivered a week ago (Christmas). Serviced it per instructions then cranked it for about 10 minutes. Let set and cool for 2 hours checked the oil and ran it another 15 minutes. During last run I tested all plugs and all seemed to be working properly. I'm only using propane in this and I feel I'm ready for the next outage.

Tri fuel generator

I purchased this in the spring after a 19 day power outage. Have it hooked up for gasoline power for now but plan on getting it hooked up to natural gas eventually.
