Powerful Generator

Purchased this generator in the middle of an extended power outage. Got home and was able to get it quickly up and running in the dark. Filled with oil, connected the battery, fueled up and it started immediately. Ran our essentials along with our neighbors freezer for 24 hours no issues. Planning to get the whole house hooked up and I have no doubts this generator will take care of everything!

Purrs like a kitten.

The proverbial phrase, "Some Assembly Required" barely applied here. I was able to put the few items on the machine quickly and easily. Using the remote control, this unit fired up right away and purred like a kitten. Now I can't wait to lose power to my house so I can put this beauty to work. (The wind storms we have been having in Southeast Michigan suggest that my wish may come true soon.)

High Hopes

Please see helpful notes enclosed. Based on reviews by others etc I have high hopes that this will be a great 5-star generator. That being said, the battery was DOA which is almost to be expected, where my issue comes in is use of the quick-start guide…. While it tells you to do ABC, it does not tell you to pair the remote started before use etc. I would recommend that you charge the battery before attempting to use any form of electric starting features, and go to page 23-24 of your manual to learn about the remote set-up which is quite eassy. Alternatively you can pull start this baby and charge the battery that way. I hope this info helps other buyers! Cheers!!!
