This generator is amazing. I have an elderly woman that lives with me who has dementia, and when the power goes off due to storms, this generator immediately kicks in making her feel safe at all time I would highly recommend..

Easy Set up

I haven't had to use this yet but the unboxing and initial set up took less than one hour. The generator started up immediately and ran flawlessly. I plan to get a manual transfer switch and a 50 AMP breaker so I can attach this directly to a sub panel to provide power to my entire 1500 sq ft house.

After unboxing it I did the simple assembly (attaching the wheels and feet), topped up the oil (be careful not to overfill it, the bottle that comes with it has more oil than needed), then hooked the trickle charger for the gel cell battery and let it charge overnight. The next day I hooked up a propane cylinder and followed the instructions to start it. It started right up and ran smoothly. Power was available at the 110VAC recepticals on the panel.
The documentation that came with the unit is complete and accurate. Read it carefully and you will have no problems with operation of the unit.
