Had a 5500 generator (won't throw out names), it worked but really loud. This seems to be a little quieter. It didn't quite come with enough oil to fill it, ended up buying a gallon because I plan on doing frequent oil change for the break in period so not a huge deal to me. Remote works pretty well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great generator for power outages.

Bought one for my parents and me.Going to wire both generators up to a 50 amp inlet box. Installing interlock in panels. They prevent power back feeds to Ulitity power.
I would recommend this to a friend!
