This is the second generator I have purchased from this brand and I am very satisfied with its performance. My house is 1200 square feet and it keeps my entire house powered.

I bought this to replace a defective portable generator. I thought it was gonna be very difficult to put together and too heavy, but I was able to do it by myself.

Frequency is high and does not idle up

Initial fire up of generator, frequency is 62.9. I called support and they requested I put a load on it. With 2 heat elements at maybe 2.5amps, it dropped to 61.7 Hz. I was told this was all good and normal. Fast forward to today, with my first trial run after all electrical was finished to feed my home. I started with my garage which has a 240v pool pump and air compressor. The pool pump and all 120 devices ran just fine. When the air compressor came on, lights began flickering badly and the generator shut off. This was done again when I had someone able to turn the air compressor on while I was at the generator to observe the operations. I observed the frequency was dropping to 55-56 Hz and voltage was also dropping. This is happening due to the idle circuitry of the generator failing is my thought. I called support and was advised to contact my seller to return the unit for being defective. If I’m not able to return it, I can take it somewhere of pay to have someone come to my home. This is very poor support for a brand new product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
