Great Generator for almost whole house

Bought this unit as I’ve owned a smaller 30A Westinghouse and decided to upgrade to a larger unit with natural gas capabilities. Love the remote start option and ability to also use propane. Worked well in the last hurricane when we lost power for close to a week. Ran like a gem for everything except my downstairs ac unit.

Purchase this generator about 15 days ago and I’m very very happy with the way it was packaged. All of the information regarding operation and set up were spot on. The generator started on the first try for the electric start and runs very well. I would highly recommend the purchase of this generator for the quality and cost.

Trifuel makes it easy

After a 6 day outage last year, I did a lot of research and found this trifuel generator, which will power the whole house in the event of another outage.

Great generator for emergency backup

We live in FL and after the 2024 hurricane season (where we lost power for a combined 12 days) - we decided enough was enough and invested in a generator. We considered an expensive whole house model, however ultimately decided that for a fraction of the cost, this model would more than meet our needs, for something we hoped to never really need. We chose this model specifically because of the tri fuel options - gas, propane, natural gas. During the hurricanes last year, finding gas was a huge ordeal - so having other fuel options was key - and since it is transfer switch ready, we can (eventually) hook this up directly to our house and power most of our home essentials.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Generator with great features

I upgraded to this 9500 watt generator because I wanted to power everything when the power went out. The booklet and instructions were very good, I appreciate the quick start guide, it is very good at guiding you through everything you need to know to get started without reading the entire manual. I like that it's tri-fuel, I didn't want to put gasoline in it just to set it up and try it out, so I used the propane tank from my grill to make sure that everything worked properly. After reading the manual I discovered there is a screw that will allow you to drain the carburetor, the thing I was concerned about why I didn't want to use gasoline to try it out. Storing power equipment for long periods of time with gasoline in the carburetor causes problems, so this is an amazing feature. This also has an electric and recoil (pull) start. all you have to do is push the start button and the generator starts right up. I was surprised that it started right away since it takes a little bit for the propane (in this case) to get through the hose. Press the button again to make it shut off, (so easy.) Another feature I have come to appreciate is the remote start fob. I can start the generator while inside my house. I tried it multiple times and it works perfect. Overall, it's everything I was hoping it would be, it exceeded my expectations and I'm very happy with it! I just wish I had natural gas where I live, I would never have to stock up on fuel, a great feature if I ever get natural gas where I live. Westinghouse makes a great product!
