Just what I wanted

Looking for a small power unit for emergency recharging for phones and computers. The igen 600s is just right. Lightweight, portable and enough power to keep my electronics charged. Also purchased portable solar panels as a power source back up to house current. The panels recharged the igen 600s with no problem. One week to the day after the igen arrived, house power went out due to a storm. Great test for the power pack and it performed well.

We are so happy with our iGen300. Light weight, portable, multiple ways to charge and portable! No more gas generator fumes for us. Thanks Westinghouse.

easy and quiet

I bought this generator several weeks ago. I have tested it by plugging my camper into it to run the refrigerator and it works great!
I had no problems adding the oil during the setup and starting it. I only have experience with one other generator and this one is much quieter. I really love that! My 85-year-old father (who is no stranger to equipment like this) saw the generator running on the driveway and even commented on how quiet it was!) We plan to use this boondocking when the solar panels aren't getting sun and at home when the power goes out during a storm. I am very pleased with this purchase!

Unsatisfied as have a defective unti

Bought this yesterday. Charged it overnight and no charge has registered. Also, the flashlight button is recessed, is stuck and won’t in recess. I like the technology but seems it is a defective unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

More then expected very surprised

We ordered this unit with the mindset that it could be used as a temporary power source in the house with lights and fans since we live in Northeast Fl and with several hurricanes and thunderstorms we wanted something quick and easy to use to go with our gas generator. The day it was delivered we were very surprised on how small it was and I admit I was skeptical. We charged the unit and the next morning plugged in a 60 watt energy efficient bulb at 7 a.m.. The read out on the station said it was pulling 10 watts not expecting much 12 hrs later the unit registered that it was still half charged with the bulb still on at this point this unit made it point that it is reliable. I was very surprised that this little unit lasted so long even though it states up to 21 hrs. My wife was extremely happy to know that she now has a unit that is portable and easy to use and immediately texted several of her friends about the unit. This unit is now in our hurricane prep area, recharged and ready for use.
