After being without power for 5 hours and cell phones batteries dying we bought this so we wouldn't have to be without again. Great feature you can charge a phone and have a lamp plugged it. The light on this unit is very bright. Very happy with this purchase.

I purchased this item a month ago for a camping

I purchased this item a month ago for a planned camping trip at Lake Perris, which me & family went to this past weekend July 11TH-13TH, this item was not even powerful enough to power a small hotplate!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this unit a week ago and works as advertised. Small, lightweight, and charges no problem. Good for a small camping trip and keeping all devices barges for me and my kids. Cell phones, flash lights, fans..etc.

Worked better than expected.

So I got this in yesterday and I decided to do a test. My purpose for buying this device was just in case power went out I could run my CPAP. When I decided to test it I wanted to add a little extra to it just to see how it would do so I hooked up a box fan along with my CPAP and ran it all night it used about a quarter charge maybe a little more but that's impressive for such a small machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Received this in May, had time to check it all out before I actually needed it. During a thunder storm in July, with close lightening strikes, we lost power and the iGen160s Portable Power Station "saved the evening"!!
