Lousy generator

This generator has exactly 10 minutes on the motor and it won’t start
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just arrived today ... Setup has been super easy. Of course this is the kind of thing you hope you never need, but I'm glad we have the backup power now for our house.

Damaged gas regulator

I bought the generator November 2025, worked for 10 minutes when first installed. Tried to exercise January 2025 and would not start with either natural gas or propane. Called Westinghouse for assistance and was told it was probably the regulator and would send me a replacement, albeit I would have to install it. Asked for instructions but never received a readable copy. Very disappointed that I bought a "lemon" and Westinghouse would not make it right. They offered to make the repair but I would have to take the unit to a repair shop 40 miles from me. I have no way to transport the unit. I would have to pay for a service call even though materials and labor is covered under the one year warranty.
I asked that the unit be replaced and was refused.

Just what we needed during power outages

We bought this back at the end of September 2025 and have used it a couple of times during power outages. It is very easy to setup, start up and the remote feature is great, especially when the weather is very bad. Having a tri-fuel unit provides great flexibility. Highly recommended.
