I was required to submit a review for a bonus item

I just purchased this product and have not used it yet. Therefore I cannot really comment on the quality, durability, safety, or effectiveness of the product. Generally you submit product registration immediately after purchasing a product. This product registration offered a "bonus item" of a storage cover however it required submitted a review to receive the item. Doesn't make much sense does it? Here I am though.
What I can say is that the product arrived in a timely manner. It is clean and was easy to set up. I am missing the key fob mentioned in the documentation. I have heard good things about the brand so I look forward to its first use when using a generator is necessary. The documentation suggested a break-in period of several hours so maybe I will do that tomorrow.
The frontend software engineers to this website should also fix the form validation on this product review modal. There are issues. Westinghouse can hire me if they like to fix it.
Next time just provide the cover without requiring a review.

I bought this generator as a whole home generator for my ranch style 2200 sq. ft. home. After a quick and easy setup (installed legs and wheels, filled oil reservoir, hooked up battery) I started the generator on the first attempt. I will only use propane or natural gas due to the ethanol on most gasoline. I completed a 5 hour burn-in period. An electrician installed the external receptacle and interlock and wired the generator into my circuit breaker panel. I tested the system today and it was flawless. The generator handled my entire home electrical needs, no problem. I am not going to power our electric furnace witht he generator because it may heavily task the generator so I have space heaters in all rooms and will turn them on as needed. Both my wife and I work from home and all computer/Wi-Fi systems worked perfectly. Great generator! One suggestion, purchase a long 50 amp cable becuase the generator is a bit noisy, especially under load. I also purchased a "running" generator cover in case of inclimate weather. Purchase this generator with confidence.

It was very easy to set up and we were able to start it up right away with gas. We haven't tried propane or natural gas yet and are waiting to schedule the electrician to test the house.

Excellent Generator!

Great running generator with low THD! We had a neighborhood power outage right at the end of the 5 hour break-in period. I changed the oil as directed and filled with 5w-30 synthetic. Started the generator back up, turned off the main house breaker, set the breaker interlock system (that I had an electrician install while waiting for the generator to arrive), plugged in the 50amp power chord to the house receptacle and the generator, flipped the generator breaker, and as expected we had power to the entire house! Generator ran for another 8 hours without issue, powering the entire house (minus AC). We couldn’t be more pleased!
