Like the remote start. It is quieter than we anticipated. Having dual fuel will be nice. This is wired to our electric panel to run the house when the power goes out. We have not needed it yet, but nice to have.

I bought this generator in October. After installing a transfer switch and all of the related accessories I was finally able to fire this baby up and see what it could do. Well, it performs just as expected. A few switch flips and I'm able to power all the circuits needed should there be a power outage. Fired right up using the convenient push-button start and ran smoothly. I didn't try the remote control, but, honestly, I can't say that I plan to use it. I did purchase the Westinghouse generator rain canopy. I installed it after the test run, but it appears to fit nicely and will be necessary should I need to use the generator in the rain -- or snow. I did a lot of research before deciding on this generator. Time and time again this generator was ranked the best out there. FWIW, I actually wanted to buy a whole-house battery backup system. But to get the same capacity, those systems are prohibitively expensive. And I didn't want to sink a lot of money into something I might actually use (need) very little. I think I made the right choice. Time will tell.
