Great size, easy set up

I purchased this before the winter and am very happy with it so far. We tested it after getting the circuit breaker panel modified and it ran the whole house! Unfortunately, we have not lost power all winter. I used it one day to power my shop vac while cleaning the car, just to break it in. Starts with no effort due to the battery. Will run it periodically to continue the break in. Looking forward to the next power outage!!

Great generator so far

This generator was just delivered today and my husband got it all together wheels or gas, etc. it started right up as it should and ran so smooth and it was not too loud. Although I know it would be louder once it has a load on it but overall, I am so impressed. It is so good looking first of all it has four 120 volt house plug outets, and a 30 amp and a 50 amp plug outlets. Now I definitely feel sick for hurricane season. I just have to get all my gas cans and propane tanks.

Excellent Tri-Fuel Generator – Reliable, Powerful

I’ve been really impressed with the Westinghouse WGen10500TFc. One of the main reasons I chose this model is that it runs on propane, which makes maintenance much easier than using gasoline — no worries about stale fuel or gummed-up carbs. The added bonus of a natural gas hookup is great too, offering long-term flexibility for emergency power.
The electric start works perfectly, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I’ve come to appreciate the remote start/stop key fob — I didn’t think I’d use it, but it’s incredibly convenient, especially during bad weather or nighttime outages.
As for the noise, it’s about what you’d expect from a generator this size — no louder than any others I’ve used or heard nearby. Totally manageable, especially with proper placement.
The large capacity is perfect for running through an inlet plug and interlock kit, and it handles most of the essentials in my house without issue during an outage: lights, fridge, freezer, well pump, and more.
Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. It’s a solid, reliable unit that brings peace of mind during emergencies. Five stars.

We've had 3 power outages since the beginning of 2025 so I needed a generator that was reliable and a cost effective solution. The Westinghouse WGen11500TFc has satisfied our needs admirably. We also own another Westinghouse generator at our summer home in Maine, so we are familiar with the quality and dependability of Westinghouse generators.
