After an exhaustive search for a portable generator big enough to run my entire house, I turned to my electrician who owns this model and uses it to power his house during an outage...pro tip; he also uses it daily in his business. I searched no more and purchased one for myself and couldn't be happier... 100 out of 100 Westinghouse!!

Leaks oil the first time I started it.

I am very concerned the first time I started the generator I was leaking oil.

Well-designed

Just purchased this. Was packaged well for shipment. Easy-to-read instructions for assembly and operation. Had it ready to start up in 10 minutes. Have not yet used it for home back-up, but looks like a quality product. My wife really liked the remote start. Very satisfied with the generator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have not used it yet but it arrived in great condition and looks easy to use. We are a little disappointed it doesn't come with natural gas line anymore.

Powerful and easy to set up

Had issues with power outages and decided to get a generator. Glad we did! Setting it up was easy and this thing has more than enough power during outages to keep the essentials going. Haven’t had any reliability issues or concerns. Love that there’s options for different fuels as well.

Instructions good except for 1...

Bought it late last year. Just assembled and started up. Worked except Page 25 illustration shows the choke as "A - Choke (on/warm start)" and "B - Choke (off/cold start)", as well as "...on/warm" in an instruction below. That all appear to be incorrect. Luckily other step-by-step instructions show "on/cold" and "off/warm". It would be confusing/wrong for those that don't know the purpose of the choke.
