My first generator, and is an awesome solid unit !

This is my very first generator and I'm glad I made this choice. After carefully reviewing this one and other brands, I decided to go with the Westinghouse unit since the name has a great reputation for reliability. I bought this on July 8th, 2025 shortly after we got two tornadoes at the same time here in Upstate NY just a few weeks prior on the night of June 22nd, 2025. A heat wave was ongoing during the storm and during the power outage that followed and lasted for four days. We lost all our food in the fridge and freezer, and sleeping was difficult due to no AC. I swore I was not going to go through that again and made the decision to purchase a generator, and I'm glad I bought the Westinghouse unit. I haven't had to use it yet but gave it a few test runs and it's a beast, runs solid and very happy with it. It's definitely worth the five-star rating I gave it !

High quality generator with great features.

I bought this to hook up to a transfer switch to power my house in the event of a power outage. I love having the option of three different fuel sources the remote start and the battery back up. This is a high-quality unit and is very substantial and well put together. And easy to operate.

Love the Tri Fuel option

I recently purchased the WGen10500TFc. Although I already have a gas generator, I loved that this generator had the Tri fuel option. I am tired of the hassle of gas….stabilizing gas, draining and cleaning carburetors, etc. I plan to use the propane option. This generator came with wheel kit, battery, and even the propane hose/regulator setup.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Problem

Have less than 125 hrs on unit. It will run approximately 15 -20 and then die. will crank right back but dies again. Authorized service centers are limited in my area in North La.
