I'm a woman who lives alone and it's impossible for me to start this by myself. I'm horribly disappointed as I've always been able to start the ones I've rented. Other than that, it works well and is strong enough. But what good is it to me if I can't even start it?!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this pressure washer for general use around the house, and washing cars. So far works great! Even pressure washed my neighbors pool area for her and she was extremely impressed how well it did without any additional scrubbing or chemicals...etc. only issue I have is that the soap feature isn't high pressure, it comes out at a very low pressure. Otherwise, I highly recommend this pressure washer!

Used the pressure washer for the first time yesterday. Did a fantastic job cleaning driveway, patio, etc. Plenty of power! The only negative is that we found it a bit hard to start.
