I bought this for cleaning algae, moss and mildew from the siding. the heavy foam generated by this foam cannon stayed put long enough for the chemicals to work. The other products were cheap plastic, but this one is sturdy brass and steel. I will be using this for many years to come. A quality product from Westinghouse was also a deciding factor in my purchase.
