Beware of High Altitude

If you live at high elevation (above 5,000'), you may want to reconsider using the Propane/Nat Gas fuel options because the parts kit does not exist, and Westinghouse does not have an ETA for restocking. So all you can do is order the High Altitude carburetor kit and burn gasoline. Not much of a value when you only get to use one out of three fuel sources at high elevation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this generator. Bought this as a home back up and it was easy to set up and has enough power to keep us warm and comfortable during power outages.

One of my best purchases ever!

I couldn’t be happier with my Westinghouse iGen8200TFc—it’s easily one of the best investments I’ve made for reliable backup power. Right out of the gate, the tri-fuel capability is a game changer: being able to run on gasoline, propane, or natural gas gives unbeatable flexibility depending on supply and situation.
What really sets this generator apart is its inverter technology, which produces clean, stable power with less than 3% total harmonic distortion—perfect for sensitive electronics like phones, laptops, and TVs without risking damage. The unit is notably quiet and fuel efficient, thanks to its smart Eco mode that adjusts engine speed to match the load, saving fuel and reducing noise even during long runtimes.
It’s built with thoughtful features you’ll actually use: a digital LED data center that displays fuel level, running hours, voltage, and more, plus a remote electric start so you don’t have to be right next to it every time you power up. The CO sensor and automatic shutdown give added peace of mind for safety during prolonged use.
With robust power output capable of running essentials like AC, refrigerator, sump pump, and tools—even simultaneously—it’s ideal for home backup, RV camping, job sites, or emergency preparedness. Overall, this generator combines performance, convenience, safety, and flexibility in a package that’s hard to beat for the price. Highly recommended!

Quiet and great fuel options!

Purchased this generator mainly form it’s low decibels (especially in eco mode). I also like that it can run on three different fuel types. Remote start is a nice feature (remote came already paired). Another main reason I purchased this generator is for the clean sine wave it produces for the longevity of my electronics.
