Quiet and Capable

Even though we live in the mountains, we generally have very reliable electric service, so this was purely a planning purchase, hoping it seldom gets used. We went with the iGen8200TFc Digital Inverter Generator because it has great reviews online, has enough power to run everything we need (well pump, lights, outlets, frig and freezer), is super quiet, is very portable, has low THD, has a 50 amp outlet and runs on multiple fuel types. I work on lots of small engines for friends and this design solves many of the gripes I mutter when working on those older pieces of equipment. Those include a permanently attached oil drain hose, so no spills when changing oil. It also has a tube installed to easily drain the carb bowl to keep stale fuel out of that important part. Those are clever and appreciated! It fired right up out of the box and is amazingly quiet. Very happy with our purchase!!

igen8200Tfc in parallel

I bought two of the igen8200Tfc generators to run in parallel. I tried them out today and ran them for the 5 hour break in. They work great and will run everything in the house, all at once. I am running them on natural gas.

Great Generator

Recently bought htis generator after the threat of an ice storm in the area to power critical items in my home. The set up was very easy and just finished the break in period. Didn't need for the storm as we didn't lose power but have used around the house during break in with great success. Great product and recommend.

Started right up on propane

Purchased as a backup generator for our house when the power goes out. It will be enough to keep the refrigerators running and lights on, and probably a bit more. I got the generator setup with a propane tank and it started right up. Eventually, I plan to tap into our house's gas line so I won't have to worry about gasoline and propane tanks, but it's nice to have all three options.

I bought this in January 2026. The unit has only run long enough to be connected to my house and confirm it works and power the generator panel. I am pleased with what I have seen so far, quieter than expected, remote start / stop works fine and generator started first time out of box and each subsequent time. Easy to unpack and set up. Ran it on LP max load about 5000w then auto disconnected, which what was expected . Comes with a
good documentation package.
