Assembles easily, includes manual; runs quietly

Assembly went smoothly and features were clearly described, first when previewing the manual online and then referencing the hardcopy one included in the box. Upon trial startup, the generator ran surprisingly more quietly than our gas-powered leaf blower! We rarely have power outages during the winter months. But in the summer, when we have wind and rainstorms, and living in a rural area thick with many old trees growing along our country roads, we have frequent outages lasting 2-3 days when those trees/limbs fall on the power wires! We believe this generator will be most beneficial and appreciated when we only need to connect a few key electrical items (water pump, temporary AC window unit, refrigerator, TV, lamp, etc.) during those power outages. But this unit will handle our whole-house power needs, if we so desire.

Great generator, but not easily made floating.

Great and quiet generator, is fine it give stars but floating the neutral is pretty annoying. A unit of this size should be assumed to be running a panel with a bonded neutral. It needs to be easier to switch.

We've been in the market to purchase an invertor generator that would supply power to our entire home, and the Westinghouse iGen11000DFc was the right choice! Living in FL, we suffer through storms almost every hurricane season. With the Westinghouse iGen11000DFc ready to go, we can rest easy should there be an interruption to our main power. Very solid machine!

Great Generator

I bought this a week ago and it was easy to put together. It is a very durable and quiet generator and has a lot of power. It is much better than my standard generator which is much louder and not a strong.

This is for the 11000DFc. Bought this to use as a whole home backup. It does not disappoint. It will run everything in my home. Obviously need to be selective on running the 240 amp appliances. My central HVAC has a variable speed motor so its an easy start. In what i would think would be a long outage i would put a window unit in my master bedroom and not us the central hvac. The generator is a bonded neutral so you might want to convert it to a floating neutral if hooking to your home through an inlet. It's easy to do.

Just unpacked and assembled - waiting to start it

I just picked this up and assembled it. It went together very easily with all of the right tools provided. I'm waiting to start it up but I get a free cover if I leave a review, so why not. I'd rate it 5 stars if I actually had to use it during an outage yet.
