Test Run Went Well

We bought the iGen11000DFc because we live in Florida and experienced two major hurricanes this year. Fortunately, we did not use it as our power was restored quickly (thank you to the line people from near and far who made that possible). We will keep the project for future needs. Recently, we had a transfer plug installed and ran the product for about 8 hours in advance, per the electrician's instructions. So far, so good. It was easy to assemble and is easy to maneuver.

Running off house propane. Tested to 7+KW no problem. Had to move the large regulator from supplied propane tank hose to the house gas connection.
User manual a bit confusing for Data Center display. I don't see frequency as an option. My DVM showed 60hz solid at full power with only a slight drop in voltage (244VAC no load to 238VAC full load).

Just got the inverter. Assembly and startup were very easy. Guide worked great. For its size it is easy to move around. Love the dual fuel.

must have features at a decent price point

This is an upgrade from my present generator. This Westinghouse iGen11000DFc includes the must haves of: an inverter which makes it safe for many electronics, including tv's computers, refrigerators, and my new heating sys. with smart control board. The dual fuel and the extra wattage is just right for me.

Really nice quality. Easy setup. Option for dual fuel is great. I can run propane to avoid stale gasoline issue, but have option for long outage.

This generator has all the features I wanted

Bought this late last month and finally started it today after the inverter generator and all the cables arrived. Everything matched what I expected from the advertising. Two small annoyances were (1) a funnel that did not screw in correctly making it difficult to use and (2) an inconsistency in giving different names to the "start/stop" or "battery" switch. Cranked and ran fine today on propane.

Bought this to prevent loss due to power outages. It is wonderful and not only powers household appliances but supplies Low thd power to sensitive electronics
