Works well for my needs

Works well for my needs. Only glitch like others have said had a damaged alternator cover, had to pry off to take off floating wire. Also had damage to cage around the motor. Also have to run with one notch on choke all the time. Other than that so far so go.

Starts on first pull. Runs smooth, easy minimal assemble. We'll have to see for the long haul, but so far it's great.

A Quality Compact Powerful Portable Generator

Purchased the WGen5300V portable generator for household electrical power backup as I live on the Gulf Coast which is subject to periodic hurricanes. The unit started on the first pull and noise level was very acceptable. The 5300-6600 Watts of power will supply a significant portion of my household needs in the event of an outage.

Followed directions as usual, just added a little gas to make sure it would start, tried electric first, nothing, tried it again nothing, silence, then I pulled the starter route and it started to crumble then upon further pulling it just came all the way out no retraction or pull back at all. See photo
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
