Generator looks like it has good build quality and was delivered in good condition. Assembly was simple and it started up on the first pull. Will have to wait and see how good it does the next time we lose power.

I CAN PULL THE STARTER CORD TO GET IT RUNNING. THAT IS AN ISSUE FOR OLDER FOLKS. DIDN'T WANT THE BATTERY START MODEL BECAUSE WITH MY LUCK WHEN I REALLY NEEDED IT, THE BATTERY WOULD BE LOW.

This is my third generator. The first one was damaged by a forklift and the second generator ran rough. I should have just kept the 1st one despite the frame damage because it ran so smooth. This generator that I am writing a review on runs ok. The rpm changes periodically but not bad. It might just need a governor adjustment but it shouldn't need anything brand new right out of the box. Everything else seems to work ok. I will be using this as a home backup system so if I get any visible light flickering due to the rpm fluctuations then I will take it somewhere to get fixed. I'm so done sending these back. It does have a 3 year warranty so that's good. Westinghouse Generators have good reviews so I thought they would be better than this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this because our power goes out all too often due to storms in Oklahoma. This generator is a good size, isn’t too heavy and worked very well when we were without power for 79 hours.
