I always looking for a portable generator for home emergency, this WGen5300V is exactly what I need, good price, enough feature and powerful enough to power most appliances in a regular household. Easy to use, one pull start.

Ease of use and start up

I am very happy with the product, the ease of set up and start up is great. Just add oil and gas, connect the battery and push the switch and its running and producing power. Seems a little quieter than others I have heard so that's a great plus.

Light

It's difficult to find a generator with a lot of amps that's light. I can toss this thing around like a baby toy. At 107 pounds this is easy to take in and out of the truck. I don't know how they made it so light with 44 amps @ 120volts. I got the one with the electric start also. Maybe that adds a half pound. Started right up. Comes with oil and a funnel.

I bought this 10 days ago. It was easy to setup with clear instructions and provided tools and oils, it was started with one pull. Noise level is acceptable. I am very satisfied with it.

Right Equipment

This generator is a perfect fit for us! Very little assembly is required and,as soon as we added the oil,it started on the first pull! During these trying times, having a good generator is essential when the power is shut off. This year,it has happened too often and we cannot continue without good equipment such as this Westinghouse generator.Thank you!
