Good so far.

This machine so far is working very well. It has great features, easy assembly, everything included that was needed, and appears very stable in its build quality. After initial assembly, all it took was one pull of the start cord, and it fired right up. So far a good machine. Good purchase.

Runs fine, but several bad design features

Just bought this as an emergency backup for winter. Assembled and started for recommended break in. Looks ok with a few exceptions:
1) Washer head bolts for mounting feet interfere with the foot brackets. Must deform bracket or not seat bolts fully. Careless design.
2) Printing on label for "start" and "run" icons are incorrect from instruction manual references. Right position, but incorrect icon. Not sure how this happens.
3) Must actually screw a funnel with an o-ring into the oil tank to fill oil since fill hole does not allow vertical filling access. More annoying than anything else.

Just what I needed

As soon as I unboxed my new generator my power went out! The assembly was very easy. We had our unit up and running within 20 minutes. A little loud but it got the job done. I was very impressed with the quick start. I would highly recommend this product.

Bought this generator for my elderly mother. Working like a charm so far! Easy to set up, engine starts like a dream (using the electric start, which was a MUST for her, and which frequently doesn't work on most generators), and gives an amazing amount of runtime for its gas consumption. I've also heard that the customer service team is excellent, though luckily I have had no need to test that for myself.
One minor issue: The exhaust pipe is covered, and surrounded by a spark arrestor frame. So while I really want to add an extension to funnel exhaust completely out of the shed, I don't have enough available pipe to clamp an extension onto. I get why the team capped and covered the pipe, but this is an issue for a generator that produces a *huge* amount of carbon monoxide - like, it will fill a small space instantly with fumes that can kill you quickly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
