Instructions for set up are easy to follow - oil is included - and it started right up and ran flawlessly. The electric start is a bonus if you have bad shoulders. I reviewed many before purchase and Westinghouse 5300s fit my needs perfectly.

Easy to assemble and get ready for the next power outage. Has enough power to send to house through transfer switch to run all essentials and a few extras.

Easy to use and so amazing!

I just moved to an area where the power goes out often and for several days at a time. I bought this WGen5300 generator and I love it. It supplies my entire home including my well pump and hot water heater. As an older woman living alone, this is a very easy generator to use. Electric start with backup pull just in case. This generator has made my life easier and more worry free. Thank you Westinghouse!

A great generator

Right out of the box, it was so easy preparing this generator for its 1st run and load. I love the battery starting feature... and the recoil works easy too.

Worth the money

Boyfriend bought this for my house because we are always losing power in the area. He checked out many generators and after reviewing them all he said that the Westinghouse unit is the one to go with. The generator is easy to use and start. He hooked up a transfer box that I just run the twist lock cord to and throw a switch and we have power to the building. I was happy to find out that it powers almost everything in the house.

Still breaking in the engine

Added oil and gas, started on second pull. Began engine break in procedure on page 18. Would recommend better packaging. Alternator cover was dented. Seems to be working well but too early to give complete review.
