First time Generator owner.

A long overdue purchase for hurricane season. I had it shipped to my home, and it arrived damage free.
I chose my WGen5300V for its Wattage, and Warranty. The price was sweet, and I love the color also lol.
Set up was no problem. Putting on the wheels and rubber feet was simple. I LOVE the threaded oil funnel! The supplied spark plug tool and wrench in a pouch are a nice touch.
It has the look and feel of a sturdy, quality piece of equipment. It started right up, and ran flawlessly on it's unloaded first break-in hour. It is not whisper quiet, but is not any louder than any other small generator. It sounds nice too me. I love the overhead valve engine.
The second part of the break-in was also uneventful. I used my 1200w smoker to vary the load, and keep under 50% as recommended.
I hope I never have to use it out of necessity, but I know it will easily handle my fridge, chest freezer, tv and fans. Also, coffee pot, and micro as needed.
It gives me peace of mind knowing that up to a week or two without grid power, will be less miserable now with my WGen5300v.

Just received it yesterday and haven't used it yet but it seems to be all they said it would be! Everything you need comes with it except Gasoline.

this generator just arrived, put the front rests and wheels on in just five minutes, filled with the oil that came with, put gas in and started the very first pull. it says to run without load for 1 hour to break in engine, doing that now. no damage upon arrival. from box to running in about 15 or 20 minutes. will try putting a load on it shortly, but if it starts easy, the battle is won!

I purchased this Westinghouse generator because I was pleased with my Westinghouse power washer purchased within the last year. There is a reason Westinghouse products have 5 star ratings. Very impressed with Westinghouse. Also, I was very pleased with this machine.
Easy assembly, started right up, runs smoothly. Also, it has a manual. WOW. Westinghouse is the best. I am a huge fan.

Love the generator. I had to buy the AC/CA 120-240 30A L14-30R. Now everything works on the 50 AMP Class A RV.

Very happy with this purchase, bought for use with my RV, this thing cranks out more power than I needed, so I never have to worry about calculating what I can run at the same time.
