I purchased this unit in April in an effort to be ready for our annual storms and hurricanes in Florida. The 5300S will be perfect and provide the power required until power is restored.

Only "gotcha" was having to finish drilling the hole thru so the cotter pin would fit.

Just received this generator, it barely needed any prep out of the box.
Only concern is whether or not it needs to have the neutral removed, for hook up to a transfer switch
