Quick Setup for Storm Preparations

Generator was purchased about a week ago before forecasted Winter storm. Generator setup was straight forward and completed in less than 2 hours. Setup instructions were clear and easy to follow. One setup recommendation is to very slowly fill the engine oil to avoid spillage. Generator started at first attempt and passed all my pre-storm tests. Power was lost not during storm, and full power backup routine was not experienced. This generator replaced an older generator that needs a rebuild. This generator plugged into existing power backup cords and setup.
Minor issue: One of air filter clips arrived broken out of box.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice features and ease of setup

I like the features, especially electric start. As a senior citizen, it was becoming too difficult for me to start my old generator which only had recoil. Also, I like the ease of set up with this new Westinghouse unit. I haven't used it yet but I'm sure it'll come in handy during the next power outage.

I bought this to be prepared for coming winter storm . Luckily I did not have to use it yet, but I am already thinking of so many more uses for it and am excited to use it!

Easy to use, Easy to assemble, Works Great

Just got today, super easy assembly, instruction manual easy to read and understand. Started right up after filling with included oil, love the included funnel. Just like that, Ready to go. Hopefully will stay on standby, and not lose electricity. Thanks for a Quality product.

Very dependable generator

I bought this generator in preparation for the impending ice storm. The generator arrived as scheduled. It was very well boxed and there were no dents or scratches. The instruction manual is very well laid out and easy to understand. I am a 70-year-old female and I had no trouble setting it up. Love the electric start feature. I tested out the pull start and that works equally as well. I was able to get it started right away. Although we never lost power, I have been testing out the generator the last few days. It has started with no problem and I will continue to do so each month to keep it in good running condition. I would highly recommend buying a Westinghouse generator. Just make sure you find a place that can service a Westinghouse generator because not all places do.
