Electric Start and many features

Purchased because of electric start and larger capacity than my current generator. I needed 240V to operate well pumps. Setup generator added gas and oil, started immediately.

I bought this about a month before Hurricane Francine. If the power goes out, I should be ready. I have not tried it yet, but want my free cover.

Quality time with instruction book required!

Unpacked it with our electrician who was in no mood to look at instructions; had to undo and redo several things! Got oil and gas into it, figured out the choke, got it to run after a few attempts, let it warm up a bit and plugged a power tool into it, which worked as it was supposed to. Turned it off and set about moving it to a secure location; it definitely needs to be pulled, and never pushed - as I was trying to maneuver it down a slight hill, the handle folded up underneath it unexpectedly, trapping my index finger as the unit settled on the ground on the side which was away from me. I think it's a serious design flaw that the handle does not lock in the extended position - serious enough that it cost you a star on the rating! (If I have to have it x-rayed tomorrow, that'll be another star, and if it's broken, you'll be lucky to get one star out of me!)

Great product

What great product. When I received his product, it was raining and the electric went off. I had it up and running in 15 minutes. I ran it for six hours and not a problem. It was so easy getting running for the first time. This Generator is a very quiet starts in one full and was well packaged. In that six hours, it ran more than I expected I was very happy with that.
