Started with problem

bought the WGen7500 due to a power outage. I got it all set up and it wouldn't generate any power . called the store couldn't get any help. called westinghouse they opened a claim.(no response yet) Friend came over had the same problem. The GFI's on the plugs needed to be reset. they are black on black you can't see them with the rubber flaps over them. maybe if the buttons had some red on them it would have been a little less stressful. The WGen-7500 works fine and no problems after the first one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this Item due to a power outage. Lost power for 3 days and the generator worked great, it never lost energy running my appliances.

Brings light to my darkness

Bought this a few days ago after 5 confirmed tornadoes went through Northeast Ohio. It was really good and worked brilliantly. For some reason it REALLY did not like me plugging in my UPS for my work desk and the GFCI would pop every time untill i just used a normal surge protector, which is why I remove a star. Beyond that I appreciate it keeping my food in the fridge and deep freezer safe! Saved so much more by using this generator. Also never ran out of gas, but longest runtime before I refilled it was about 7.5-8 hours.

New Generator purchase

Ranked generator up to make sure everything ran ok. No issues on the initial startup. All of the parts oil and startup materials were included. Seems like a pretty solid made product. Doesnt seem to be cheaply made. So far pretty satisfied with this product. Feels like a good investment being that im from Florida and we tend to loose power alot.

Surprisingly fuel efficient

After many frequent and long power outages in my area, we finally bought a generator. The WGen7500C is gas only, but it's surprisingly fuel efficient, even under heavy load. I plant to add a transfer switch to my home for outdoor hookup, but this first use we used a bunch of extension cords from the 20A outlets, and we bought a 30A plug in cord for more outlets. I had 2 refrigerators, a chest freezer, sump pump, a couple of tv's, computers, lights connected, pretty much everything but the furnace/AC. This unit worked like a champ. In the future I may buy a tri-fuel with more capacity for the AC and a hookup for natural gas. It will definitely be a Westinghouse.

It does the job

We lost power after a big storm and I had a feeling it would be a few days without power. So I went looking for a generator and came across the Westinghouse 7500. I’m glad I purchased it. It runs everything I need (2 freezers and 2 refrigerators, and a few oddds and ends), I’m even running an extension cord to the neighbors so the can run their refrigerator. I’m happy with the purchase.
