Impressive Generator For Our Home

After a thorough research of portable generators, I bought the WGen7500 for use in our home. It will run the HW boiler, the refrigerator, our wifi network and cable TV should the power go out in our New England winters. I was very impressed with the quality of the product. The unit came with everything you need to get going. It took about 5 minutes to put the wheels and two support feet on. Electric start worked great. It was quieter than I expected. We believe we are now ready to effectively deal with old man winter.

The w Gen 7500 came within 3 or 4 days. Off loaded via power tailgate and left at my driveway. I was able to put the wheels on by myself in about two minutes. Then I was able to manually transport it to my garage and charge the battery. It has great ballance and moves easily. Have not used the unit and can not speak to the longevity or it's dependability at this point but it ships quick and has 7500/9500 W power with a key fob remote start/stop. Not sure the fob will be useful to start since you need the on off switch in the on position. That will cause the timer to run as if the unit is running even though you may not have it running. I also expect that will draw from the battery. So, I think the remote fob will end up being a shut off tool but then your timer will continue to run and draw from your battery. So, I'm not sure how useful it will be. But it was included and not extra so we will see if it can be incorporated.

Easy to Understand and Operate

Wasn't use to the electric start, but it is well worth it. Started without incident. Unfortunately received it just after we had power restore from Hurricane Irma.

Purchased generator for backup power during potential electrical outages that are common in hurricane season in southeast Texas. Prepped unit and it fired up on first try. Wished it were a little quieter. Electric start is a great feature.
