This should have enough power to get us through the next hurricane/tropical storm/etc. Its loud, which is the only reason I didn't give it the fifth star.
Our generator arrived quickly, set up was very straight forward and it started up first time (after I added oil and fuel). Not as loud as I thought it might be. Very happy so far.
I am very satisfied with this generator. It is easy to assemble and starts every time with a push of a button. Provides all the backup power I need when I need it.
Lost power for a few days after the hurricane. Kept two refrigerators microwave freezer and a whole lot other things running in my house without missing a Beat. Have some oil starting to leak that I have to get looked at but otherwise generator ran strong
Bought the generator year ago fired up for hurricane Irma running 24 seven running my TV my lights the well pump everything but my air-conditioner running 24 seven for almost 8 days
Have only run for about one hour to make sure it was working. Connected some loads (refrigerator, window AC unit, industrial fan and a few lights) and it easily handled everything without any hesitation. The handle used to move the generator around only engages one lifting load point side. The other side has a small gap so that the lifting point isn't engaged (minus one star). Also, the remote start/stop transmitter control doesn't work. I bought new batteries and installed them and the transmitter appears to be working as the LED light blinks when I press either button, but nothing happens. I've held the button down for up to 10 seconds and still nothing (minus another star). Based on what I've seen so far, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend. Only time will tell if there are any other quality issues.
