Much Needed Addition!

After researching back up generators for weather related power outages at home, I found this the Westinghouse WGen 7500 to be the best value and option for a quality/cost effective solution. Upon receipt the quality of the components is very high. After five minute set up, it started right up with a couple of pulls of the cord! Only issue is I option for the electric start, however the negative battery terminal was broken off. Neither the broken piece, nor the screw to connect were in the box. That tells me it was broken when it was installed and shipped anyway. Easy fix, just need a new battery. I called customer service today, waiting for a response from a service tech. Hopefully it comes soon as wind is howling and had 14 inches of snow yesterday and don't want to have to pull start the snow blower and the generator! If issue is resolved quickly, would give it 5 stars.

Ready For The Next Power Outage

I am so excited to finally get my new generator. After Hurricane Irma it seems there was no generators to be had. I was without power for a week and swore I would never go through that again. I received it, followed the easy directions and got it all ready to go. Pushed the start button one time and it was off to the races.

I only assembled and ran a short time I use for my house during power outage as I am writing this we are in the middle of a noreaster with high winds i'm expecting a loss of power so I can put this generator to the test

So far so good but I've only had it running for ten minutes. Shipping was on time and nothing was broken. Set everything up and generator started right up. Only time will tell how it holds up.

Great Generator Deal!

After a recent 3 day power outage I decided it was time to get serious about a backup generator. The product features and consistently good reviews led me to purchase this unit. I believe you would be hard pressed to find one with these feature at this price.
