After doing hours of research I decided on the wgen7500 and couldnt be happier! Quality is evident right from the unpackaging. Clear diections, fantastic operation! Handles the work load easily.
7500 to be kept in garage & plugged into house transfer station when power out. Set up took 1/2 hr & needed only a utility knife to open box, socket set (or phillips screwdriver) to attach wheels & battery cables. Oil & funnel conveniently provided. Directions average but the few steps required are very intuitive. Start up involves only opening fuel line (1/4 turn), flipping switch to run, and pressing starter button once; also tried pull cord - again, first time. Registered 80db on decibel meter, but this is less than older unit it replaces. Looks good, sets up and starts like a charm, and is now ready for the rest of a MA winter. Here's hoping we won't need it for other than peace of mind.
I have not found a single other generator with all of the many features that this baby has and for such a reasonable price to boot. Remote starter, electric start, battery charger built in, pull start, seriously it's got way too much to list, you'll see if you read the specs. I haven't started her up yet and will report back when I do.
