This generator was a great price for the amount of watts it provides. We were able to set it up and get it working with no problems. We look forward to having electricity the next time we have one of our frequent power outages!

Great features, excellent manual

Bought this month ago and waited to take time to review manual. All set up steps (attaching wheels, etc) were well written. Cautions are clearly marked. Total time removing from box, wheels, oil, gas addition approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. But note I was during that period rereading instructions to be sure I was doing everything correctly. Puttin oil in was a lttle cumbersome at first using the funnel but its just amatter of being patient and DEFINITELY adding oil in increments as instructions state. I pressed start button and it would not start!! But I had missed the step about turning the fuel control to the on position. Once i did that it started immediately - my mistake as it was clearly stated in the manual. Even though it is heavy, moving it around on the large wheels makes it very easy. All tools needed were present. Engineering and design are first class. It is loud when next to it outdoors, but hardly hear it when indoors. User should follow istructions exacle as described in manul for shut down - one doesnt just turn it off. There is a special sequence that if followed will protect the motor components. Shut down following instructions takes 30second - no big deal. As a former manuals writer prior to retirement electronics I am impressed. Hope no hurricanes, but if occur I think I can trust it to do the job if power goes out on west coast Florida. That would be the best test.

Nice big Generator!

I bought this in July right after a big storm left us without power for several days it was awful! I decided to go with a good well known company and Westinghouse was my choice and im glad i did my WGen7500 was delivered quickly and in good condition. It looks like it will take on anything i might have to deal with during an outage. I have not tried it out yet and its still partially in the box because Im a woman and never purchased a generator before so im waiting on my brother to come over and take it out of the box,attatch the wheels and show me how everything works! He did say it was a nice one and I got it from a reliable company.

Plenty of great features and simple to assemble

The unit is power and solid. It is very easy to assemble. Plenty of outlets and easy to reset circuits. Large 6.5 gal metal tank with great run time. Oil and tools came with unit. Pull, electric & remote start. AWESOME!!!!!!!!
