delivery was on time and set up was simple .ran and tested ,it ran smooth and tested perfect. the next day someone hit and broke a utility pole down the road ,we were out of power for a few hours .the wgen7500 ran the whole house with no problems.
Assembly is a snap. Started right up. Runs Smoothly. Easily handles the load of our essentials, including Micro Wave, Pellet Stove, Refrigerator, Freezer. Sump Pump and our Verizon setup.
I was going to pay more for a lower wattage generator and found the WGen7500. It not only offered me enough emergency power for my home but I really liked that it's rated at continuous 7500 W. The electric start is great. I just plug it in to my switch and start the generator. Once warmed, I transfer load and the generator goes to work. The features are basic things that you would want. The noise level is not outrageous. With severe thunderstorms in my part of the country, it's really nice to have some comfort with backup power. Our winter icing also causes some issues. I haven't really worked it out hard yet, but I expect it to be reliable and do it's job.
Comes with everything you need to get it running in the box expect gas. Very easy to set up and get running. The wheels are heavy duty and easy to install, no bolts it uses pins. Fill it up with gas and the included oil, hook up the battery and press the start button. Runs great. The noise level isnt too bad about what i was expecting. Seems powerful so far havent need to used to much yet but everything is great so far.
Bought as a back up generator after current model too small to drive our well pump. Started first try out the box (electrical start!) and easily able to manage well pump, furnace and fridge/freezer etc. Only negative is the made in China bit I thought Westinghouse was USA made, but that seems to apply to all gens!.
