Within an hour, I had it out of the box, assembled, and running. The electric start is a feature I didn't have on my previous generator and it's great. It is pretty quiet for a generator this large. Haven't powered the house yet, but I imagine it will handle any load I can apply.
The Westinghouse Gen7500 comes well packaged upon delivery with everything needed to run out of packaging other than Gasoline. I used the Gen7500 the 1st night on RV travel trailer and It ran everything, AC , Water pump, TV, Microwave, Fridge, ect without a hiccup. One thing I will still need to evaluate is run time on one tank of Gasoline. This seems to be over rated in marketing advertisement. Overall, Ran generator over night and was very satisfied with performance. Note: This is a very heavy Generator, so if you are going mobile , you will want to invest in some truck ramps to load and offload.
I purchased my generator after the last storm this year in MA. I have yet to have to use the generator but it appears to be built well. All functions work as they should, push button start, remote start and recoil start. Push button and remote start are very nice features for people that dont like pulling cords to start generators. Also the auto choke feature makes this great for anyone who has trouble starting machines due to lack of knowledge on using a choke, it does all the hard work for you! Cant wait to run it on the next outage.
