Ease of operation

I needed more power than my prior 5550 watt generator and was confident in Westinghouse products. It started on the first attempt and I was very happy with the battery powered electric start. I first used it with my power pole saw trimming trees, and it worked great. I am in the "country", and we occasionally lose power. This will keep the "lights on". Thanks, Westinghouse! I look forward to years of dependable service.

Purchased this generator and haven't had the opportunity to use it myself yet. My daughter, on the other hand, lost power at her house two weeks after I got this one home, so I took it to her house. How lucky. With the electric start, she didn't have to worry about using the recoil starting chord to start it.( I will say, after assembly, I tried the recoil start and it pulled very easily and started on the second try.) She used my generator for two and a half days and it powered everything in her house without any problems at all. Fuel usage was less than I expected compared to my old generator and the noise level was minimal. Overall she was very pleased and I am now buying her one of her own as a belated Christmas gift.

We replaced an older hand crank generator and this version is most superior.
Easily powers our entire 1500 sq. ft. house with 2 refrigerators and three freezers included. Great buy!

Great unit

For the price you cannot beat this unit. WGen7500. Has the ability to power a whole house through a transfer switch. Reliable power output. Push button start has been flawless. Large gas tank ensures long run time. Engine is quiet for this large of generator. Heavy but moves easily with its wheels and nice handle.
