Bought this generator to upgrade from a 10 year old 5000 watt, plan to run as a whole house back up. Took only 15 minutes to assemble. Hooked up the battery, filled the oil, added gas. Pushed the start button and turned on with out any issues. Ran the unit for an hour and shut down, did notice an odor from the generator, but i figured it was new and had to be broke in. The next day I hooked it up to my transfer switch and tested out on my house. Ran a well pump, furnace, sump pump, turned on all the lights in my House (LED's). turned on 4 ceiling fans, ran microwave. Tested out for an hour with out any issues. I did read reviews for others had issues after an hour of use. Time will tell. 3 year warranty. I plan to run the generator for at least an hour every month just to make sure if something does go wrong I can turn in the warranty.

Have lived on the Southeast coast all my life and storms are becoming more and more frequent. Tired of losing contents of freezer. Did review search and I know Westinghouse builds a good product. The WGEN 7500 has the power and features that I need, plus the price was less than lower powered units of other manufactures. The quietness was great compared to my other neighbors. Running time is more efficient per gal.used than any other I saw. The tank is even sloped to allow for all the fuel to be run out. This unit is balanced perfectly, I'm 75 yrs. old and can wheel it around with ease, Thanks Westinghouse.

I bought this on New Years day, had a professional electrician install it with a transfer switch. He said he was very impressed with the quality and features. Said it was the Cadillac of generators. Even my husband was impressed. I love it.
