Just bought this to run my home in case of power outage. It’s simple and easy to use. Easy to operate and connect to a transfer switch. The remote is definitely a must have.
I bought this for emergencies and have not had to utilize it yet thank god but I start it up periodically and always have to use the manual pull start.
Bought a year ago and and tested it a couple of times a few months apart. It refused to start when most needed, during a power outage. It did start the next day, then failed to start again after a few months. If you cannot rely on a generator to operate when you need it, then it's obviously pointless to own it.
Haven't used it yet, but I like knowing I have power available when the utility company shuts us down for fire safety in CA. Having an electrician hook it into the main panel on my house.
