Great for power outages

My husband wanted this generator for our new house to keep furnace running when out of power….we live in Texas and while it does not happen often, it is chaos when it does. Hasn’t been put to the test, but we hope to stay warm when the time comes.

We purchased the generator earlier this year and love its features and how easy it is to use. The price was within our budget and it stores easily in the garage without taking up too much space.

Remote Start Device Great for Snow or Ice Weather

We purchased this a month ago and have yet to use it; however the set-up went forward without a hitch. The remote start feature worked the very first time we tried it. For us it was a good choice as a whole house generator for downed power lines, which are common in Western North Carolina. We calculate it will keep our electric ignition/gas furnace, well pump, and refrigerator going for the duration of power out. We have a very small cabin home and don't need a whole house automatic generator system, which costs 3 or 4 times more than this unit. We wish the assembly instructions had included more specific information on how to use the battery re-charger, included in the unit. The electrician who helped set up our circuit panel to receive the generator showed us how to use the battery re-charger.
