Arrived in perfect condition, with all parts and instructions, as expected. It hasn't been used in a power failure yet, but everything came complete and everything works as expected including the electric start and stop with key fob or start button. It runs much quieter than my 30 year old 4000W Coleman generator. One non-critical disappointment is that the welded brackets that accept the wheel bolts are not welded on correctly. The wheels appear to flare out, as shown in the photo. Disappointing but not important to function. Also wish it came with better instructions on using the trickle charger. Running the unit every two or three months (per the manual) is not a viable way to charge the battery. My intent is to tie the trickle charger to a timer and leave it plugged in while in storage, and have it charge for a couple hours per week. Or use a smart charger (battery maintainer) at extra cost. Also noticed that the battery vibrates while the generator is running, as though in resonance.
When operational set-up performed at night, in the dark such things as breakers, switches and plug locations easily and clearly apparent for no guessing and confusion.
have needed a unit for several years have fought several storms and now am sure I have a unit that will not let me down. westinghouse has a great name .
I just bought this generator and I was amazed at how fast it was delivered. Can't wait to set it up and try it. I will be updating my review once I get it all set up. Also once, I get the transfer switch installed and set up, I will review how it performs.
