Easy to set up and start

I bought this generator to replace a previous (non-Westinghouse) generator that did not have battery start. A friend who has a WGen7500 recommended it and a search online verified that it gets very high ratings. The WGen7500 was easy to set up and start. I really appreciate the remote start.

Great generator, easy to setup and use

I bought this during a power outage to keep our sump pump and refrigerators going. It was easy to setup and even came with a cover and cord to use.

Poorly constructed, cheap materials, unreliable

Everything is over machined, and with a combination of cheap materials, it means maintenance isn't really possible (you can't remove screws). They are also unreliable. I did all of the start-up prep when I first purchased the generator, but the first time I needed it for a real outage it was busted. Not a good generator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was able to quickly get this set up and connected to my breaker box. I didn't run an extended time, just enough to make sure I was able to provide backup power to my home. Worked so far.
