I bought this item few weeks ago and tested for few minutes. This generator worked great and supplied the power to home as expected, and it was easy to use as well. I really like this item and recommend.
I've never owned a generator before so I wasn't sure what I was in for. I originally was going to save some money and head to the local cheap hardware store for a similar model. Because they kept selling out of them, I looked online and found the Westinghouse WGen7500. I'm glad I ordered this one. The build quality is impressive as is the control panel layout and the professional-looking paint job. Everything seemed like it was quality as I attached the wheels and legs to the frame. Here's the thing: with shipping and a wheel kit, the model I originally looked at is the same price as this Westinghouse. The WGen7500 is definitely a better machine. This baby can power a cabin or several appliances at a moment's notice. All I did was fill the engine with oil and a little gas. The generator started right up. It has a push-button electric start and a remote start/stop fob as well. Run time is approximately 11 hours with a 50% power load. The fuel tank is 6.6-gallons and the fuel economy is good enough considering it's a 420cc 4-stroke engine. This engine also features an automatic shut down sensor in case of a low oil situation. The steel tube frame with added reinforcement around the fuel tank is a nice touch.
