After that Texas Storm We Bought This

We were without power for 36 hours. After the power came back, we went out and bought this. Works great and we love the push start. Most importantly, we love the peice of mind we get with knowing we have a safety net for the next big storm.

great start

Ok I had to get this twice to give this review, as my first gen came damaged and I had to return it. So I waited another 30 plus days and I finally got mine. It was very easy to get setup and once I hit the remote it fired right up. It runs smooth and I am so glad I looked around and bought this one.

Heavy but easily movable

This monster weighs close to 200 lbs which worried me a bit, but it's easily movable with the heavy-duty wheels and handle. I think I'm ready for hurricane season!

Great Unit

This is a solid generator for a number of uses. It hits most of the averages - weight, noise level, etc. I know a number of people who have had Westinghouse products and was confident in this purchase. It arrived with no damage, though I must admit I was surprised at the relative minimal packing supporting the unit (no styrofoam or anything to absorb any potential hits to the box.... not a big problem, but I can see how it could have been damaged in shipping. Overall, a great value for anyone needing a generator of this size.

Easy Setup / Easy Start up/ Easy Maintenance

I bought this as an emergency generator for the house. I was pleased that they included the battery (for electric start), oil, a funnel, tools, and a charger. There were no surprises, extra trips to the store, they included everything. Great first impressions!
