A truly nice piece of equipment

After having a well known name generator permanently fail after 37 hours of run time I went looking for a replacement that was comparable in capacity but had the kind of reviews that turned heads, (thousands of ratings between 4 & 5). The packaging for this generator was excellent. The generator was pallet mounted and strapped. No damage to the actual cardboard box. Assembly was simple with even the wrench supplied for the feet attachment. The wheels were simply attached as well and are very well made with sealed bearings. Following all the manual information on pre-start and start procedures, the unit came to life effortlessly! The exhaust noise was considerably less than my previous unit. The control panel is well designed and simple to use. I am also intrigued with addition of a remote start key fob! I am a manual reader and will continue to go through all the unit's information, which by the way is also a fully printed on quality paper booklet. Kudos to Westinghouse on bringing their historical technology and quality to this consumer product.

Did the job when needed

I bought this to fill in during our frequent power outages. The outages can range from an hour to days. We had a shorter power outage and the generator was up an running in minutes and di a good job until the power was restored.

Wanted to upgrade to a generator with electric start after hurricanes Sally and Zeta. Runs great right out of the box. Wife really likes Remote Start
