THE GREAT TEXAS WINTER

I bought this bad boy in 2019. I live in Texas and I was preparing for Hurricane seasons. And haven’t used the generator at all. Well now that the GREAT TEXAS WINTER has arrived I would like to tell all that are looking into buying this generator that, I have a transfer switch set up for my house, the the last two days I have been on generator power 100%.
I have two refrigerators running, the gas heater, but it has an electric fan, microwave TV, internet and assorted lights throughout the house.
This bad boy generator has run all of them without a hiccup. The only problem was my mistake I let the battery go dead while it sat idle. Happy to say that two pulls on the pull cord and it fired right up. It’s a little on the loud side but no more than any generator it’s size. Really though who cares how loud it is when you’re freezing.
Bottom line is, for me and my Sons family this “BAD BOY” of a generator was a life saver. Now my Son is getting one. And if this turns out to be the generator you choose I think you’ll be happy with it, I know I am.
Now bring on Hurricane season.

Generator is easy to set up I started it manually in 3 pulls have since charged the battery and it started on first cycle. Have not needed it yet but comforting to know it is there ready for use!

Just got this just in time for our next ice storm. Brought it home ran through the small assembly requirements (attach wheels and feet). Began the first startup, fill oil and fuel, ran through all the manuals instructions and could not get the electric and key fob to work. Manual start it fired right up not very loud while running and started on the first pull. We figured the battery was dead seeing we had no green lights on the start button. So, we plugged in the charger and was going to wait for it to charge but, my husband decided to take another look at it and was convinced that when we ordered it the add said came fully charged. Long story but we found that the battery was not connected properly and plugged in the quick connect and boom push button and key fob work! Very pleased with our purchase!
