BOUGHT THIS AROUND CHRISTMAS. LOVE THE FEATURES, THE REMOTE START AND THE ELECTRIC START. EASY TO PUT OIL IN WITH THE FUNNEL.VERY QUIET RUNNING.

Love it, easy to start,

Just bought this generator to replace a older Gentrac 5000. I was impressed with easy set up out of the box and it started on first pull! Its much quieter than the older generator. I also found it more ergonomic and easier to move, takes up less space. A trial run hooking to our transfer switch, it powered our well pump, furnace blower motor, two refrigerators, two freezers. Didnt try to fully load, but think it will perform very well as it easily handled the main load requirements. Will update this review as more time/experience with the unit is acquired.

Easy to set up, fires right up, remote start......

Seems great on day 1. My concern is the remote start. I have to go to the generator to turn the power switch on in order for the remote start to work. If I want to the generator I might as well push the start button. And if I remote stop, the power switch is still on and drawing from the battery, illuminating the battery light.
What am I missing? Is there a way to remote start this without actually switching the power on, and remote stopping without the battery draining?

easy operating

I bought this last week and used it already; power during an electrical outage. Saved refrigerated and frozen food and operated heater and lights. 4 wheels with 2 locking wheels would make it easier to move.
I would recommend this to a friend!
