Wow easy to unpack and use

We bought it, the instructions were easy to follow, added oil, gas, read safety issue and Remote start!!! Yahoo!!! So excited to be using this runs great and new t as noisy as I was afraid of for camping! Thanks

Just received my WGEN7500 and finished assembly. After reading the instruction manual I was pleasantly surprised to find out out the additional features this generator had that weren't mentioned in the specs on-line. There is a remote key fob for starting and stopping the unit, low oil safety cutoff, trickle charger, built in charger and a port to remotely control a cross over switch! I will be test starting the unit as soon as I get some ethanol free gas. I will not be jeopardizing this generator with any ethanol fuels. I will also be using synthetic motor oil after this first oil change in order to ensure a really long life from this unit. I am now ready for our next hurricane.....no more evacuations for us.

Excellent Generator - Nice Features

I was going to pay more for a lower wattage generator and found the WGen7500. It not only offered me enough emergency power for my home but I really liked that it's rated at continuous 7500 W. The electric start is great. I just plug it in to my switch and start the generator. Once warmed, I transfer load and the generator goes to work. The features are basic things that you would want. The noise level is not outrageous. With severe thunderstorms in my part of the country, it's really nice to have some comfort with backup power. Our winter icing also causes some issues. I haven't really worked it out hard yet, but I expect it to be reliable and do it's job.

WGen7500 Arrived Damaged

The item was shipped by Pilot trucking and arrived with the box damaged. When I put the wheels on the generator I found that the air cover was damaged and a new cover would have to be sent. Also the Quick Start Guide indicated that a funnel would be included along with a tool kit. Neither was included and the only instructions was the Quick Start Guide - no manual. Also under Electric Starting in the Quick Start Guide the picture indicates the Red goes to the Negative and the Black to the positive but the actual instructions indicate the opposite. The editor was not paying attention.

Finally wouldn't start at all! Now in for repair fond out the automatic choke not working Had to order a new carburetor assembly and it's on back ordered

Great Operating Features

I live in a very rural area and have total electric power. We need a generator to provide power during outages for well water etc. It replaced a failed unit that did not have operating features of the WGen7500'
This unit was easily and quickly set up following the instructions provided. I did complete the set up prior to adding oil and gas to the unit in order to allow me to tilt the unit on its end to install the wheels and feet very easily and without creating a gas and oil spill.
The remote start and push button start are great feature that I truly appreciate. The unit started on the first try with each of these options.

great generator

i bought this to upgrade from my generac 5500 it came when they said and the guy dilivering it could not of been nicer he put it right in my shed for me i live in maine so you can imagine how it is in the winter i put the wheels on and feet put in oil hooked up the battery that took 15 minutes hooked it up to my house started the generator and flicked on the transfer switch and we had enough power to run the whole house the generac done a great job for 4 years but there were some things we couldnt power at the same time this one seems to take all we give it hopfully it will for a long time time will tell but for now im a happy guy
